Step 1

Book yourself in for a one-to-one Nanoblading consultation. During the consultation your technician will discuss the (Nanobalding) procedure in more detail, talk through any concerns you may have; list all contraindications; what to expect after treatment; client consent form; your brow expectations.

If you wish you proceed with the Nanoblading procedure, Luxe Visage will run a skin patch test which involves a small lance on the inner elbow on both sides, one for anaesthetic we use (5% Lidocane) and the other with our organic pigment.  Should a reaction occur within 48 hours please notify the clinic.  Following a successful test, Luxe will arrange an appointment for your Nanoblading treatment.

Step 2

Luxe Visage ask all clients to secure their Nanoblading booking with a small deposit. During the appointment your technician will map out your new brows using specialist measuring tools and technique.

Once you are happy with the shape, the Nanoblading treatment will commence.

You will have comfort in knowing that all products used when Nanoblading are of the highest quality and medical grade.  The professional pigments that we use are organic and are manufactured in Germany.

Your technician will check in throughout the Nanoblading procedure, and make sure you are happy with the progress. You can pause, stop and cancel at any time if you are uncomfortable.

Step 3

Once the Nanobalding treatment is over, expect to have eyebrows that are darker than expected and slight redness to the skin.  This will calm down within 24 hours.

The appearance of your new brows can fade and become barely visible within the first 2-3 days but this is part of the healing process, the pigment will resurface.

It is normal to see some patches during the following weeks, everyone is different and the healing process is unique to each individual.

A Nanobalding top up is usually advised at around 6-12 weeks post treatment.  Your first treatment is usually a feel for how your skin will take to the pigment, procedure and how it will heal.

Usual side effects for Nanobalding:

  • Bruising
  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Bleeding
  • Tenderness

Before your Nanobalding treatment:

  • Do not drink alcohol within 24 hours of having your treatment
  • Do not drink caffeinated drinks (tea/coffee/cola) within two hours of your treatment
  • Do not wax, pluck or thread 48 hours before the treatment
  • If you take Medication please make your technician aware before the Nanoblading Consultation or treatment.

When Nanoblading my brows, how quickly will I see the results and how long will they last?

Your new eyebrows are instantly noticeable.  It is likely that your eyebrows will be darker than you’d expect following treatment, but do not let this phase you, they will calm within a few days, inline with your expectations.

Your technician will chose a pigment shade that closely matches your natural hair colour.  Your initial treatment really is to get a feel for the skin and how your body responds to the pigment.

During the healing process, macrophage cells from your immune system will gradually absorb the ink and disperse it which is why your brows will fade over time.  This process is accelerated for the first 4-6 weeks following treatment.  This is where you will see the most changes to your brows, which is why we recommend a top-up 6 weeks post initial Nanoblading procedure.

It is therefore important to book in your Nanoblading top-up session straight after your first treatment.  On average the results will last two years, however some clients will visit us sooner, and some after 3-4 years everyone is different.

What does the Nanoblading treatment plan look like?

First you are booked in for an hour consultation, your technician will assess your skin, your expectation and what to expect.  A patch test will be performed and providing there are no adverse reactions, your Nanoblading treatment will be booked in.

A top-up treatment is recommended and we advise that this is booked in on the day of your initial Nanoblading treatment to ensure you get a slot in advance, avoiding any disappointment.

Are there any side effects with Nanoblading?

The usual side effects are what you’d expect when getting a semi-permanent tattoo. You could experience bruising, redness, swelling, minimal bleeding and tenderness.

Within the healing process you may experience itching and it is important that you do not scratch.

During the Nanoblading treatment, what can I expect to happen?

You will be comfortably lying flat on a treatment bed.  For hygiene purposes we ensure all client wear a mob cap (which is provided) throughout the procedure.

Whilst Nanoblading your brow during the procedure you may experience a runny and or blocked nose and it may cause you to sneeze.  This is because the treatment area is near the sinuses but these effects will only last the duration of the procedure.

Please ensure that you do not drink alcohol for 24 hours before treatment, do not consume caffeine or high sugar for at least two hours before your treatment as this can cause adverse effects and the treatment may need to be postponed.

Please do not wax, pluck or thread your brows before the treatment. If you are on any medication please disclose this during your consultation as some medication may affect your treatment plan.
